Pike's Peak

Yes, indeedy, at the "peak" of my search for Playmates Toys' Star Trek "Warp Collection" action figures, I found "Pike" tonight at Toys R Us.

Pike, like the aforementioned figures, is 6 inches tall and comes with a utility belt, phaser pistol, non-flip-top communicator and Starfleet figure stand. In other words, he's a repack of Kirk's body and accessories, but with a new head. Unfortunately, like the Kirk figure to actor Chris Pine, Pike bears little resemblance to actor Bruce Greenwood, other than having some gray hair at the temples.

It doesn't matter, though, because Pike was one of the figures I wanted and now I have him. Warp Collection completed ... for now.
