Morphing Movie Logos, Batman!

I'm watching "Liar Liar" and was reminded of something I like about the Universal Pictures Earth logo that sometimes happens at the beginning of its films. Of course, the only example I can think of is "Waterworld," in which the word "Universal" disappears, then the picture closes in on the Earth while the polar ice caps melt, thus setting up the story.

And while I'm on the subject, does anyone else think that the Columbia Pictures logo has Annette Benning's face?
